Commercial Bank of Texas CEO and President Rusty Rust announced that Austin Williams has been named vice president of Commercial Lending and Business Development for Jefferson County, in support of the bank’s vision to be the premier community-focused financial services organization.
Williams boasts more than 25 years of experience in business development, commercial lending, and community engagement across Southeast Texas.
“This opportunity to bring Commercial Bank of Texas, a true community bank, into Jefferson County is exciting. We’re building something special — focused on relationships, local decision-making, and doing business the right way,” Williams said.
Williams is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University Commercial Lending Program and holds a BBA in Finance and Economics from Lamar University, as well as a BBA in Economics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Williams also serves as vice president and treasurer of the Babe Zaharias Foundation, assistant golf coach at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School, Advisory Committee member of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, and Advisory Committee member of Home and School at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School.
He is married with two children.
