American Air Systems, Inc. has been honored with the 2025 Carrier President’s Award, recognizing the company’s outstanding commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service in the HVAC industry, according to a press release.
The award is given annually to Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers who demonstrate exemplary leadership, customer satisfaction, and business excellence. It highlights American Air Systems, Inc. as an industry leader dedicated to keeping Southeast Texas homes comfortable, energy-efficient, and well-serviced.  This is the fourth year that American Air Systems, Inc. has received this recognition.

American Air Systems, Inc. was started in 1982 by Don Potter and serves residential customers in Chambers, Jefferson, Hardin, and Orange counties. They provide maintenance, service on all AC systems, central air conditioning, furnaces, heat pumps, air filters, indoor air quality with sales and service options. The company also provides plumbing services, generator installation and maintenance, along with water system installation and maintenance.  
The company continues to operate as a family-owned business when he turned it over to his son, Lee, in 2018.
