Flagship Mail Room & Emporium, or referred to by the community as “The Mail Room,” as a beloved name in Beaumont and Port Arthur, for its gift shop and shipping and packaging services, announced the acquisition of its second generation of ownership, ensuring the continuation of its rich family tradition and stated commitment to quality service.
The public is invited to an open house and ribbon cutting with the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, April 16, from 4–6 p.m. at their Beaumont store at 148 South Dowlen Road.
For more than four decades, The Mail Room has been known as a cornerstone of the local community for offering a unique selection of curated gifts and gift baskets and providing reliable, efficient shipping, packaging and bulk mail B2B services. The acquisition marks a milestone in the business’s journey, as Gary and Terri Celli pass the torch to their son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Katie Celli.
“We’re excited to see the next chapter unfold,” said Gary Celli, who has owned the company since 2002. “The strength of our family business has always been the personal relationships we’ve built with our customers. With Katie and Frank now leading the business, we’re confident the tradition of exceptional service and community involvement will only continue to grow.”
Frank and Katie Celli, the second-generation owners, bring fresh perspectives while honoring the legacy built by his father, who acquired the business over 23 years ago. Under Katie’s leadership, the company plans to expand its product offerings, online shopping opportunities, introduce new Point-of-Sale technologies, host special events and continue providing the same level of personalized service that has earned the trust of customers for years.
“I am incredibly honored to carry on this legacy,” said Katie Celli, “We look forward to growing the business in new and exciting ways, while staying true to the principles that have made us a community staple. We remain committed to providing exceptional products and reliable shipping services to our valued customers, both locally and beyond.”
The acquisition ensures that the same face-to-face service and personal touch will continue in the store, alongside new efforts to reach a broader audience. Customers can expect exciting developments in the coming months, from new seasonal gift selections, customer loyalty programs, special events, Bulk Mail B2B services and new lines coming to the store, the new owner expressed.
