The BBB Education Foundation hosted its 27th annual Torch Awards: A Celebration of Excellence on June 5 at the Beaumont Civic Center, honoring businesses and individuals across Southeast Texas that embody the highest standards of ethics, leadership and trust.
The red-carpet evening was billed as a dazzling tribute to those who lead with integrity, featuring powerful stories, heartfelt recognition, and an atmosphere charged with purpose and pride.
“This event is more than an awards ceremony,” said Jessica Gil, director of the BBB Education Foundation. “It’s a movement that highlights the incredible work being done by ethical businesses and leaders in our community, who are setting the standard for excellence.”
This year’s Torch Award winners are:
• Micro Small Business: Gubers of SETX
• Small Business: Thermacon Service Company, Inc.
• Medium Business: Priority Wound Care & Wellness Center
• Large Business: Mid-America Contractors
• Mega Business: Olshan Foundation Solutions
• Spark Award Winner: Wendi Martinez, Faulk Health Partners, LLC
• Minority-Owned Business Winner: Light Strike Productions
• Veteran-Owned Business Winner: Tucked in Tuesdays Consulting
Finalists were also recognized for their commitment to business excellence, including Rave Financial, Kelly Services, Accent Compliance, Top Deck Inc., Outback Steakhouse, Wathen, DeShong & Juncker LLP, Gaudie and Co., Tower Medical Center of Nederland, Orange County Audiology & Hearing Aids, and David’s Sweet Delights.
This year there were three additional awards given:
• Southeast Texas Businesswoman of the year award: Tania Castelan
• Southeast Texas Businessman of the year award: Craig Escamilla
• Southeast Texas Industrial Excellence Award: Indorama Ventures
In addition to the Torch Award winners, the Southeast Texas Leaders of Industry were also recognized. This year’s honored sponsors included Hol-Tech Resources LLC, RT Technical Solutions LLC, Mason Construction LLC and Precision Emergency Resources Inc.
The 2025 Leaders of Industry honorees were celebrated for lauded significant contributions to the region:

Gil noted the three individuals exemplify leadership, innovation and impact within their industries, as well as the Southeast Texas community.
