• After decades of dedication, leadership, and integrity, Arceneaux Wilson & Cole LLC announced the retirements of two of its partners, Ron Arceneaux and Joe Wilson. Arceneaux had more than 40 years of experience with privately funded projects and public works funded by state and federal agencies. He specialized in regional transportation planning and grant administration. Wilson also has more than 40 years of experience, specializing in construction management, contract management, roadways, drainage, utilities, shoreline stabilization, and sheet pile design. His expertise was in the area of project management, scheduling, and supervision.
• In December 2025, Troy Bernardt started his new role as chief lending officer with First Security Bank in Beaumont. Previously, he was executive vice president at the bank and also served as senior vice president and market president at Texas Regional Bank.
• Ben Thomas (20 years) and Philip Sanderson (19.5 years) retired from The Newtron Group in Beaumont.
• Kelly Fontenot, senior purchasing specialist with Cameron LNG, has started a new position at the plant as senior procurement specialist.
• Brandon Simoneaux, project engineer at Motiva Enterprises LLC, is starting a new position as a project engineer with the company.
• Keith Longlois ended his 36-year career with the Orange Police Department (OPD) with his retirement on Jan. 8. OPD held a retirement gathering in his honor, where he was joined by his family, friends, fellow officers, and city staff to celebrate his distinguished career. During the gathering, Longlois was presented with a plaque in honor of, and with deep appreciation for, his 36 years of dedicated and loyal service.
• R.E. Davis, Ph.D., started a new position as executive director for Industrial and Technical Programs at Lee College in Baytown. Previously, he was dean of Industry and Manufacturing Programs at Lamar State College Orange for 18 months.
• Last month, Alli Doty, M.Ed., hit her 500th class milestone at Mid-County Fitness in Port Neches. She is also a fill-in coach and the gym’s social media marketer. Doty works full time as an outside sales representative with Dragon Industrial Wrap.
• Byron Smith, CFI, LPC, retired last month as president and chairman of ISCPO, marking the conclusion of a 35-year career in the loss prevention/business continuity industry.
• Jared K. Byrd is the new systems manager at 5Point Credit Union. Before accepting the position, he worked as a business analyst with the credit union for five years.
• PK Companies announced Karen Kemp as the new executive vice president of Business Development. Most recently, she served as vice president of Business Development and Marketing at ASRC Industrial.
• Darcie Culp is the new program manager at the Galveston County Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
• Toyin Amodu, an 18-year employee, is the new global credit manager at ExxonMobil in Spring.
• S&B announced the appointment of Randy Walker to its Board of Directors. Walker succeeds J.D. Slaughter, who retired from the board last month.
• Liz Cisneros, Motiva Base Oils Technology manager, was appointed chair of the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) Base Oil Interchange/Viscosity Grade Read-Across Task Force. API is a leading trade association for the oil and natural gas sector in the U.S. With her Ph.D. in chemical engineering and industry expertise, she will lead the team that plays a critical role in supporting innovation in base oils while ensuring performance for consumers and manufacturers.
• Lamar Institute of Technology Service and Safety EMS instructor Cassie Walters received the Kountze Volunteer Fire Department Emergency Medical Responder of the Year Award. The award recognizes her outstanding service, dedication to caring for the community, and leadership within the program.
• Jacqueline Labrado is the new advisor for Cyber Security and Industrial Control System Requirements (ICSR) at ExxonMobil. Previously, she was an advanced controls electrical engineer with the company.
• Joe Mike Brooks is the new owner of Datacomm Resources LLC in Beaumont. Before becoming the new owner, Brooks was the owner of Zydeco Technologies for 26 years, a computer and IT company serving Southeast Texas, including Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, Baytown and Galveston.
• Kendra Broussard is the new director of marketing for M&P Sealing in Orange. Previously, she worked for NavSav Insurance beginning in August 2021.
• Ken Harren is the new Safety, Security, Health, and Environment manager at Golden Pass LNG in Sabine Pass. Before assuming his new role, he was environmental and regulatory supervisor for Golden Pass LNG.
• Mark Petrie is the midstream competitiveness advisor for ExxonMobil, ensuring the competitiveness of the company’s global pipelines, fuels terminals, and lubricants manufacturing through external benchmarking and performance insights. He previously worked as a cybersecurity and control systems advisor for more than two years with the company.
• Katrina Jones is the new financial controller for the city of Beaumont. Previously, she was director of finance for the city of Bridge City for more than two years.
• Patrick Stewart, chief information officer at Lamar University, was nominated and unanimously elected to the Lone Star Education and Research Network (LEARN) Executive Committee during the organization’s fourth-quarter in-person Board of Directors meeting. The appointment places LU, alongside Sul Ross State University, on the executive leadership team with some of the largest higher education institutions in Texas.
• Lamar Institute of Technology special events coordinator Connie Zindt was recognized by the Golden Triangle Industrial Group for her hospitality at their monthly meetings.
• Erin Watson Warren, P.E., is the new district engineer at Jefferson County Drainage District No. 6. Previously, she spent nearly 14 years with Motiva Enterprises LLC as a pressure equipment integrity engineer and project engineer. Warren, a 2008 Lamar University graduate, also served as a civil engineer officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve for more than 14 years.
• Adrienne Domingo is the new director of Strategic Accounts at Apache Industrial. She will focus on building and strengthening high-value partnerships with new and existing customers at the C-suite level and aligning Apache’s solutions with executive priorities, driving national sales execution, shaping long-term growth strategies, and representing Apache as a trusted leader in strategic client relationships. She brings more than 16 years of experience in the oil and gas and industrial services industry. Prior to this role, she was director of National Accounts and corporate account manager at HydroChemPSC in Houston.
• The city of Beaumont announced Desirée Pete as the new director of marketing for the Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau. Pete earned a Bachelor of Science in business and marketing and a Master of Arts in mass communications with concentration in public relations from Texas Tech University.
• Mary Doris Eberhart is the new vice president of strategy, Low Carbon Solutions, at ExxonMobil. Previously, she was global finance manager for EM for two years.
• Mark Garrison is the new project estimator and planner at BASF Beaumont. Previously, he was a project estimator and planner for Hargrove Engineers and Constructors.
• Leslie Hicks is the new contracts and timekeeping administrator at Natgasoline LLC, a methanol production facility located in Beaumont and a joint venture between Houston-based Proman USA and Vancouver-based Methanex. Previously, Hicks was the track coordinator/administrator for NES Fircroft–Natgasoline LLC.
• Angelique Cook retired last month from the Orange County Clerk’s Office after more than 23 years of service. Her future plans include helping her husband, Jacob Cook, operate the family business, Lone Star Electric of Southeast Texas.
• Jared Downs is the new customer solutions manager at TAS Environmental Services, L.P., in Orange. Previously, he was head of business development at Dagger Trucking Services LLC in Port Neches and operations manager of the Global Offshore Division of USA DeBusk in Deer Park.
