Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas announces newly elected board, chair, directors and officers

The Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Southeast Texas announced the newly elected officers, directors, and board chair for 2026. 
According to the BBB, this year’s leadership appointments reflect a continued commitment to enhancing marketplace trust and promoting ethical business practices throughout the region.
April Tolbert, owner of April Tolbert Insurance Agency, LLC, has been elected as the 2026 board chair and succeeds Lee Potter, who will now serve as past chair. 
“It is my honor to serve as board chair in the 2026 year. I’m looking forward to the BBB and its leadership in helping and building all businesses here in Southeast Texas," said Tolbert.
Other newly elected and re-elected officers for 2026 includes: Michele Cobb (Cobb Family Chiropractic), vice chair; Anthony Toups (Classic Acura Southeast Texas), treasurer; Cindy Perez Cat5 Resources), secretary; and Natasha Garrett (G & G Enterprises), Dave Stephens (American Valve & Hydrant), and Paul Skinner (Star Graphics/Function4), Executive Committee.
“Our organization has made tremendous strides over the past several years to increase community involvement, brand awareness, and continue collaborative efforts with area organizations and groups," said BBB President and CEO Darren Erwin. "Our goal is to see the businesses in Southeast Texas prosper while providing honest and ethical products and services to consumers. This ensures the fulfillment of our mission by advancing marketplace trust.”
