The Gulf Coast Community Resilience Conference is Thursday, March 26, at the Lamar University Setzer Student Center, 4405 Jimmy Simmons Blvd. in Beaumont.
The conference begins at 8:30 a.m. and is hosted by the Lamar University Center for Resiliency. This year’s thems is “Resiliency Through History.”
The event provides an opportunity to learn about the Center for Resiliency’s mission, explore partnership opportunities, and strengthen the region’s network of organizations dedicated to community well-being and resilience.
The conference is designed for neighbors, leaders, educators, nonprofits, faith communities, responders, students, and residents who care about the strength of Southeast Texas.
Registration is open and conference parking in Parking Lot C-1 is free.
Clear signage will be posted on the day of the event and walking directions to the Student Setzer Center will be provided prior to the conference to ensure smooth arrival.
