Robert Crane
March 4, Acadian Ambulance announced Robert Crane as the new operations manager for its Southeast Texas Region. Crane has been a member of the Acadian Ambulance team since July 2007 and has held multiple roles, including EMT, paramedic, critical care paramedic, field supervisor, operations supervisor, and most recently as an operations coordinator.
The Nederland native was a Health Occupations student in high school, where he completed his Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Emergency Care Attendant (ECA) certifications. After attending college and technical school, he realized that working in the EMS industry was the career path that suited him best.
As operations manager, Crane is responsible for overseeing daily operations, system performance, and community engagement across the region.
“I’m most looking forward to bringing my outside-the-box thinking to the role and advancing progressive programs that strengthen both our field operations and community partnerships across the region,” Crane said.
Early in his career, Crane found fulfillment in critical calls, but he now considers his work in public education and community outreach, collaborating with schools to improve emergency preparedness, his most valuable experience.
Acadian’s National EMS Academy offers EMT training at its campuses across Louisiana and Texas. For more information on upcoming classes, visit www.BecomeAMedic.com.
