Free tax preparation program underway in Beaumont

It’s tax time again, and Lamar University, Entergy Texas, the IRS and Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas have collaborated to offer free income tax preparation to community members who earn less than $57,000 annually, helping area residents minimize payments and maximize refunds.

VITA seeks volunteers for free tax program

Jon Korejwa, a certified tax professional and program director, is inviting volunteers to learn a new skill or hone their income tax tallying knowledge while helping local people with their taxes in 2022.
