Aug. 24, ExxonMobil in Beaumont reported that the plant experienced a "small debris fire" at the site.  According to the company announcement, the incident occurred at an out-of-service tank and no injuries were reported as a result of the fire.

Indorama, which is located at the former Huntsman facility in Port Neches, will be conducting evacuation drills on Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. and Nov. 12 at noon, reports the city of Groves. These are practice drills for the facility.
