Lowe's grants Habitat for Humanity $72k for 'Housing Plus' projects

Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County has received a $72,000 grant from Lowe’s to help complete 12 Housing Plus projects in Jefferson and Orange counties. The funding is part of Lowe’s partnership renewal with Habitat for Humanity that includes a donation of $2.

The Ben J. Rogers Regional Visitors Center reopens Jan. 20

The staff of the Ben J. Rogers Regional Visitors Center has announced the center will reopen to the public on Wednesday, Jan. 20. It has been closed since September 2019 due to water intrusion from Tropical Storm Imelda.

Entergy Texas restoring most area outages by end of week
