President Shane Johns with Kiwanis Club of Orange, Texas recently visited the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Board of Trustees meeting to recognize LCM sophomore Tracy Qi, who was selected by the Texas-Oklahoma District of Key Clubs as the Sophomore of the Year.

The audience may have been virtual for their LIT graduation, but these Beaumont ISD Early College High School (ECHS) students’ honors were very real and their extraordinary efforts, duly rewarded on June 3 when they crossed the high school stage during an in-person commencement ceremony.

The Silsbee High School Policy (CX) Debate Team shined at the District 22-4A meet on Wednesday, Feb. 5, and came home as the District 22-4A champions.
