The Texas Alcohol Beverage Commissioner (TABC) has approved Orange County Judge John Gothia’s request for bars to reopen in Orange County, the county announced Oct. 16.

Governor Greg Abbott is taking measures to increase hospital bed capacity during the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, his office reported over the weekend. Abbott signed an Executive Order March 22 to expand hospital bed capacity as the state responds to the COVID-19 virus.
