LIT president tells students to stay home after Spring Break

Lamar Institute of Technology President Dr. Lonnie Howard released a letter to students, staff and stakeholders announcing that students would not be returning to classes after Spring Break due to coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns.

GTBR cancels meeting amid coronavirus concerns

The Golden Triangle Business Roundtable (GTBR) announced March 12 that the March 17 Monthly Members Meeting has been canceled amid growing coronavirus concerns. GTBR stated that the group is canceling the meeting as a precautionary measure.

Port Arthur postpones community meeting
