Chevron Phillips presents $225k check to Buckner

The annual Chevron Phillips Charity Golf Tournament raised $225,248 for Buckner Children and Family Services in Southeast Texas. The check was presented to representatives from Buckner on Oct. 25 and will benefit vulnerable children and hurting families served locally by Buckner.

Spindletop Rotary donates $5k to SOST, SOP

Spindletop Rotary Club donated $5,000 to the Symphony of Southeast Texas (SOST) and Some Other Place on July 21 from funds raised at its annual roast event, the organization reports. The club hosted the Celebrity Roast of SOST Conductor Chelsea Tipton on April 7.

ISTC donates $7,500 to Project Graduation programs across Southeast Texas

The Industrial Safety Training Council (ISTC) is donating $7,500 to Project Graduation programs for 15 high schools throughout Southeast Texas. “ISTC is dedicated to the youth’s safety and we strongly believe in the mission of project graduation,” stated Cliff Brittain, President and CEO of ISTC.
