Governor appoints local Crime Stoppers Director to state Crime Stoppers council Governor Greg Abbott announced Oct. 5 that he has appointed Stephanie Vanskike of Beaumont and reappointed Lauren Day and Greg New to the Texas Crime Stoppers Council for terms set to expire on Sept. 1, 2024.
