BBB announces 2020 board of directors

The Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas (BBB) Feb. 4 announced its 2020 board officers and welcomed three new members joining the board this year.

According to the BBB, the following officers were named to lead the board in 2020: Chair – Paul Skinner, President of Star Graphics/Function 4; Vice-Chair – Sally Broussard, Administrator Director of Baptist Hospital-Behavioral Health; Chair-Elect – Kathryn James, Customer Relations Sr. Manager of Conns HomePlus; Treasurer – Anthony Toups, General Manager of Classic Acura; Secretary – Steve Gilbert, Manager of Sour Lake Motors; and Past Chair – Ann Scoggin, Owner of Coldwell Banker Southern Homes. Belinda Trest, Office Manager of K.A.T. Excavation and Construction was newly elected to the Executive Committee.

Todd Dunkleberger, Natasha Garrett and LaDedra Jones were elected to the BBB board.

Dunkleberger is the Customer Service Support Manager for Entergy Texas in Beaumont. He has worked for Entergy/Gulf States Utilities for 38 years and has held various managerial positions with the company, reports the BBB. Dunkleberger is a member of Board of Directors for the Spindletop Beaumont Rotary Club, member of the Board of Directors for Foundation for SETX, lifetime member of the Board of Directors for United Way of North Jefferson County, board member of Jason Alliance Project and the Jefferson County Extension Office Advisory Board. He previously served as Chairman of the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas Board of Directors. He lives in Lumberton with his wife Judy, and has two children and two grandchildren.

Garrett is the CEO of G&G Enterprises in Beaumont. She is a new franchise owner for BNI TX Greater Golden Triangle. Garrett serves on the Cattle Baron’s sponsorship committee, is an active member of the BNI All Stars Chapter, serves in the AGC of Southeast Texas, serves on multiple committees within local chambers of commerce and most recently has committed to serving on the board of the Southeast Texas Nonprofit Development Center Board. She and her husband Colin live in Beaumont with their three children and many pets.

Jones is the Vice President of Virtual Services for Mobiloil Credit Union, where she’s been for almost 15 years. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Lamar University in 2004, graduated with honors from Southwest CUNA Management School in 2012 and is expected to receive her MBA from Concordia University in April 2020. Jones enjoys volunteering at food banks, shelters and other programs, particularly those focused on supporting youth and older adults. She resides in Beaumont with her husband and four sons.
