BBB announces board members, officers for 2021.
The Better Business Bureau Serving Southeast Texas (BBB) announced their officers and board for 2021, welcoming some back and others into the organization’s leadership for the first time.
Kathryn James, a customer relations officer at Conn’s Home Plus, has been elected 2021 Board Chair. BBB named two new officers for 2021: Chair-Elect Tim Baker, president of Baker Auto Repair, and Secretary April Tolbert, owner of April Tolbert Insurance Agency. Returning officers are Vice-Chair Sally Broussard, Administrative Director of Behavioral Health at Baptist Hospitals; Treasurer Anthony Toups, general manager of Classic Acura; and Past Chair Paul Skinner, president of Star Graphics/Function 4. There are three new members of the Executive Committee: Michele Cobb, DC, owner of Cobb Family Chiropractic; Todd Dunkleberger, manager customer service support for Entergy; and Lee Potter, owner of American Air Systems.
“I am honored to be selected as the 2021 Board Chair for the Southeast Texas BBB,” said Kathryn James. “I stand by the BBB standards for ‘Building Trust’ and look forward to working with Liz, her team and the board this year as we continue to Build Trust in our community.”
In addition to officers being named, two new BBB Southeast Texas directors were elected to the board. BBB welcomes to the board Jesi Courville Jones, office manager at Courville’s Catering and Special Events, and Kevin Grinnell, owner of Grinnell Computers and Security.
“I am completely honored to have been nominated and chosen to sit on the BBB Board of Directors,” said Jones. “I am excited about this new journey and look forward to working alongside my peers to ensure trustworthy processes in business in Southeast Texas.”
Grinnell also stated that he was eager to serve the local area.
“I’m very excited for the opportunity to serve the business community of Southeast Texas,” he said.
