Project Cargo Breakbulk (PCB) announced March 16 that it was postponing the Future Projects Conference and Exhibition previously scheduled from April 1-2 to June 17-18 in light of growing coronavirus concerns. The event will still be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston.

According to a statement from PCB, “Over the past weeks the PCB Future Projects Team as well as Comexposium's corporate offices have been monitoring the growing health concern around the Coronavirus (COVID-2019).

“Taking into consideration the warning issued by the CDC as well as requests and concerns from international exhibitors, speakers and attendees, we have decided to postpone the PCB Future Projects Conference & Exhibition at this time. We would like to urge all our attendees, exhibitors and sponsors to proceed with caution and to take notice of further announcements and recommendations of their local health authorities.

“If you are looking for more information on coronavirus disease (COVID-19) prevention, treatment and precautions, please visit the CDC website at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention-treatment.html.

“With the confirmation of continued support and participation from exhibitor and speakers, the new dates are June 17-18 at GRB Houston Hall B3. We would like to apologize for any inconvenience that this postponement might cause. Your registration has been transferred to the new dates.”
