Charlotte Russe reopens at Parkdale Mall.
Parkdale Mall is announced July 23 that retailer Charlotte Russe had returned and is now open for business. A grand re-opening celebration began the day preceding the announcement when the fashion retailer opened its doors at Parkdale Mall.
“The Charlotte Russe brand was built on the idea that shopping should be fun and great fashion should be accessible to everyone,” said Michelle Praznik, General Manager at Parkdale Mall. “Charlotte Russe makes it easy for shoppers to stay on top of the latest fashion trends by offering a wide array of the latest clothing, footwear, and accessories at affordable prices.”
After the company announced store closures in early 2019, the brand was sold to Toronto-based YM Inc. and later announced they would be reopening 100 retail locations, including the location at Parkdale Mall. YM Inc. is one of North America’s leading apparel retailers operating over 700 stores across Canada and the United States.
Charlotte Russe reopened on Wednesday, July 22, in its former location across from Buckle.
"In addition to new store openings, Parkdale Mall is committed to providing opportunities for local entrepreneurs and businesses," the mall stated. "Entrepreneurs looking to test the waters with their own retail space are welcome to join Parkdale Mall in a kiosk, on a cart, or in a store. Short- and long-term leases are available at reasonable rates.
