Out of an abundance of caution, the Spindletop Center is canceling the groundbreaking ceremony for its new community garden due to concerns regarding the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“Due to evolving concerns over the COVID-19 virus and its potential impact on our community, Spindletop Center has made the difficult decision to cancel our Griffing Park Community Garden Groundbreaking Ceremony for this Thursday, March 19, and our 10th Annual IDD Fun Day for this Friday, March 20.
“We will reschedule these events at a later date once it is safe to proceed and will notify the media.”
