In a statement, Air Liquide of Port Neches warned its residential and business neighbors that there would be elevated noise levels at the site starting Jan. 17.
"Air Liquide is committed to operating responsibly in the community it serves," the company described in a news release. "As we continue the recovery efforts, Air Liquide wanted to notify both the community and industry that there will be elevated noise scheduled beginning January 17, lasting 3-5 days. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to return the site to normal operations."
