The Beaumont Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) announced the launch of their online gift shop, GoBeau Gifts, but they are even more thrilled to share their concept of the Beaumonsters to help promote the store at GoBeauGifts.com.

According to Sadie Atha, CVB marketing manager, one of the best parts about visiting is the souvenir that you bring home to friends and family, and we want to make sure our visitors bring back a little something extra.

She added the Beaumonsters will be visiting cities to invite others to visit Beaumont.

“When creating the monsters, the marketing team at the CVB wanted to share some positivity and fun into the gift shop. Together, the monsters spell BMT!, but they each have curated personalities specifically highlighting the different collections in the online gift shop,” said Atha.

Beau, the face and logo inspiration for the Go Beau Gifts, is a fan of everything Beaumont, and he has many branded items — from shirts, socks, bags, and even fanny packs. Marsha is the nature and Cattail Marsh expert, and she represents all the items any outdoor enthusiast needs, like hats or birding guides. Todd personifies the kid and toddler products that kids love, such as books, toys and clothing. To wrap it all up is Ellie, our exclamation point, the face of our gift box packages, which will be available soon on the website.

Atha noted each Beaumonster has a backstory and has their favorite spots in town, and some of that is seen on the GoBeauGifts.com website with the Beaumont and Cattail Marsh skylines on the homepage.

“We at the CVB wanted to launch a website that is a gift site, but also highlights what Beaumont really offers, and the Beaumonsters are the perfect embodiment of that concept,” Atha said. “The CVB also hopes to expand this site as an additional revenue source to help support Cattail Marsh and other future initiatives.”

She added Beau, Marsha, Todd and Ellie are just the start of the Beaumonsters collection and hope to have more Beaumonsters to join the family to showcase parts of Beaumont and to help support the continuous collections on the website.

“It’s time to be creative and speak to the new generation and these monsters need friends so stay tuned for more from the Beaumonsters,” said Atha.
