The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce is now hiring for the position of director, the Chamber announced Aug. 10.
Job requirements include the following:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Job enthusiasm and desire to help reach the Chamber’s goal of progressive growth in trade and economy;
Desire to maintain Bridge City history and educate Museum visitors;
Attention to detail is required to maintain accurate and organized records;
Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Constant Contact, WordPress, and the ability to learn new programs, as needed;
Outgoing, welcoming personality able to work with multiple personalities throughout our community;
Ability to manage and work multiple projects at one time;
Fundraising and events management experience;
Knowledge of the Bridge City community and Orange County;
Experience with social media: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter.
Required office hours are 8 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m.-12 p.m. on Friday. Occasional nights and weekends are required for events. Pay is $25,000 annually.
