Chamber names new Economic Development director

The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce announced the appointment of Amy Pinnt as the new Director of Economic Development, with a stated goal to “help lead the Chamber’s effort in growing and expanding the local economy through new business recruitment, growth of local small businesses and start-ups, and building an inclusive and diversified economy.”

The Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce has a stated top priority to impact the local economy through launching several new programs, and administration reports that Pinnt possesses the skill set to assist in making many of these goals possible. “Amy is a seasoned leader and professional with a wealth of knowledge and experience,” said Steve Ahlenius, President and CEO of the Greater Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. “We are thrilled to have her help lead our economic development efforts, and we are confident that her leadership will be instrumental in our continued growth and success.”

As Director of Economic Development, Pinnt will be responsible for driving business development initiatives, identifying and attracting new businesses to the area, and supporting the growth of local small businesses and start-ups, and workforce development.
