A Mixbook survey asking 3,000 singles where in America they would almost like to be proposed to resulted with the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden voted America’s 3rd Favorite Landmark for a Marriage Proposal. The survey identified the top 250 most iconic landmarks for a marriage proposal, notably mostly unique, Instagram-worthy locales for popping the question.

Topping the charts is the Sunset Cliffs Natural Park in San Diego, California. Following closely, Tampa Riverwalk clinched the second spot.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden secured the third position. For those who appreciate natural beauty, Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden’s famed colorful flowers and lush vegetation present an elegant backdrop for popping the question. Seasonal events and exhibits make each visit uniquely special.

Texas had five other picture-perfect landmarks that were voted among America’s top 250 for a marriage proposal, as well: Prairie Lights in Grand Prairie, Marriage Island in San Antonio, Fort Worth Botanic Garden, Mount Bonnell in Austin, and Scenic Drive Overlook in El Paso.
