JK Subaru will host its 14th annual Share the Love event from Friday, Nov. 18, through Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, to benefit United Way of Beaumont and North Jefferson County.

During these six and a half weeks, for every new Subaru that is purchased or leased, Subaru of America Inc. will donate $250 to the area United Way, and locally-owned dealership, JK Subaru, will provide a $250 match. Additionally, JK Subaru will donate $5 to United Way for Subaru vehicle service repair orders during the Share the Love timeframe as well.

“By participating in events like this, we here at JK Subaru like to remind our local community that we are more than a typical car dealer,” said Daylyn Turner, Vice President of JK Chevrolet Subaru. “We really enjoy giving back to our local community, because we appreciate the support that the community has given us over the years. Our dealership has grown and will continue to grow because of the local support we receive from our community!”

JK Subaru is dedicated to giving back to its local community, and through its selection of hometown charities, the company has given more than $50,000 to Southeast Texas over the past 12 years. Past beneficiaries have included agencies such as Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County, Southeast Texas Food Bank, Nutrition & Services for Seniors, and now the United Way.

“The Share the Love event is one of many ways that JK Subaru supports our local community throughout the year,” said Karyn Husbands, President and CEO of United Way of Beaumont and North Jefferson County. “United Way is excited and honored to have been chosen as the hometown charity this year. In selecting United Way, JK Subaru will positively impact the lives of so many in our community who receive assistance from the 36 programs we help fund. These programs range from healthcare to school-based initiatives, feeding the hungry, caring for seniors and so much more. Share the Love is a great opportunity for people to show their love for Southeast Texas, and United Way is truly grateful.”

Over the last 14 years, Subaru of America Inc. and its participating retailers have donated more than $227 million to charity, with customers choosing between four national charities and over 1,700 hometown charities.
