The Port of Port Arthur hosted its annual youth community outreach program, Camp SeaPort, on July 10- 14, with a record number of 33 local students participating.

The students, from Port Arthur and surrounding areas, had the opportunity to keep their minds and bodies active through fun and unique educational experiences. Campers also explored the maritime industry, met new friends, discovered new interests, and created memories to last a lifetime.

“At Camp SeaPort, youth are in a welcoming environment where they can belong; they’re building relationships, developing character, and discovering their potential,” said Port Commissioner Linda Spears. “We really encourage parents to give their kids the gift of signing them up for Camp SeaPort and introducing them to the maritime industry.”
