Lamar State College Orange broke ground April 19 on its new, state-ofthe-art academic building. When finished, the nearly $38 million building will house academic classrooms, labs and the Information Technology department.

Summer enrollment increases at Lamar State College Orange

Lamar State College Orange (LSCO) announced June 13 that it has seen more than a 16% increase in summer enrollment when compared to the previous year. Summer I and Summer Full Term unduplicated enrollment was 796 in 2021 and is 925 for 2022, representing a 16.2% increase.

Sherri Foreman, BSN, RN, was named Vocational Nursing Program Director. Foreman has taught at LSCO for 16 years.

LSCO hosts Spring 2022 Graduation

Lamar State College Orange (LSCO) hosted its Spring 2022 Graduation on Friday, May 13, with 154 students celebrating success at the commencement ceremony.
The graduation was held at the Frances Ann Lutcher Theater for Performing Arts. President Tom Johnson served as the commencement speaker.
