Christus Health-West Beaumont has marked one year of expanding its role as an accessible, reliable and integrated source of care for the growing Southeast Texas region, according to hospital officials.
Since opening its doors last March, the hospital reportedly has treated nearly 35,000 patients. Its services strengthen local access to care by offering a 24/7 emergency department, surgical services, endoscopy and specialty procedures, physical therapy, advanced imaging and orthopedic and gastroenterology medical offices.
“As the need for health care grows in Southeast Texas, we continue to expand our services to ensure the community has access to the personalized, patient-centered care they expect and deserve,” said Kelly Cady, vice president of physician practice operations for Christus Trinity Clinic. “We know our community has a choice when it comes to their care, and our intent is to continue providing easy access to the best providers, close to home.”
Located at 6025 Metropolitan Dr., the hospital is also home to the Christus Orthopedics Sports Medicine Institute.
The addition strengthens specialized care options and ensures more patients receive comprehensive treatment without having to leave the region.
“We want to offer residents in Beaumont and across the region access to essential health care services,” said Kevin Parsley, vice president of network and ambulatory operations for Christus Southeast Texas Health System. “As our community continues to grow, so will we. We are honored to meet this need and continue our mission of extending the healing ministry of Jesus Christ in Southeast Texas, as we have for over 125 years.”
