Austin Williams
Commercial Bank of Texas CEO and President Raymond Rust III announced Austin Williams has been named vice president of Commercial Lending and Business Development for Jefferson County in support of the bank’s stated vision to be the premier community-focused financial services organization. Williams has more than 25 years of leadership experience in business development, commercial lending and community engagement across Southeast Texas.
“This opportunity to bring Commercial Bank of Texas, a true community bank, into Jefferson County is exciting. We’re building something special-focused on relationships, local decision-making, and doing business the right way,” said Williams.
He is a graduate of the Southern Methodist University Commercial Lending Program, has his BBA in Finance and Economics from Lamar University and his BBA in Economics from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Williams is involved in his community and currently serves as vice president and treasurer for the Babe Zaharias Foundation, assistant golf coach at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School, advisory committee member of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, and advisory committee member of Home and School, Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School.
Williams and his wife, Nicole, have two children.
