• Eric Ellison, of Orange, is the new safety specialist at Golden Triangle Polymer Co. Before joining GTP, he was a maintenance technician at Austin Industrial, Inc. and an HSE safety coordinator for PCL Construction. He is also a fishing guide for Capt. Cornmeal Charters.
• Liz Cisneros, Motiva Base Oils Technology manager, was appointed chair of the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) Base Oil Interchange/Viscosity Grade Read-Across Task Force. API is a leading trade association for the oil and natural gas sector in the U.S.
• Luis Rey is the new project estimator at Trans-Global Solutions, Inc. in Baytown. Previously, he was a project estimator for RL Siteworx and a self-employed construction project manager.
• Sour Lake Chevy-Truckville Texas announced Dave Campbell has joined the dealership as a salesperson. Campbell, from Missouri, brings 25 years of auto sales experience to the dealership.
• Tory Wingate is the new regional environmental manager at Indorama Ventures-Indovinya in Houston. Previously, he was an environmental specialist at the Port Neches facility.
• Samantha Roberts of ExxonMobil was named the “Diamond Top Gem – Overall Campaign Winner” after raising $14,000 for the United Way of Beaumont & North Jefferson County Ladies in Red Campaign. The campaign raised more than $50,000 for United Way.
• Amy Dansby is the new area director of sales at Holiday Inn & Suites in Beaumont. Previously, she was director of sales at Candlewood Suite Hotels for nearly three years. Dansby has also worked with Palette Hotels and MCM Elegante Hotel and Suites.
• Kinsy Staudt is the new area manager for Performance Food Group. Previously, she was a senior account executive with NightHawk Safety and Rescue, LLC, and an account manager with Select Safety Services, LLC. Staudt earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering in 2020.
• Jacob Lindh is working in project controls at Mason Construction, LLC. He recently graduated from Lamar University with a master’s degree in industrial engineering. Lindh also played golf at LU.
• Helen Simmons, BSN, RN, CDCES, of Port Neches, announced she obtained a new certification — Clinical Advantage Bootcamp: Type 1 Diabetes Management Certificate — from the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education. Simmons works at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas as a diabetes education coordinator.
• Jill Stokes is the new stewardship coordinator at Lamar University. Previously, she was manager of corporate affairs at the Port of Orange. She graduated from Lamar in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in communications and media studies.
• Carlos Diaz, of Port Arthur, is the new manager for occupational health and safety at Motiva Enterprises, LLC. He has worked in the occupational health and safety department since February 2013.
• Shawna Bradley, broker/owner of Journey Realty, was elected Texas Realtors regional vice president for Region 9.
• Nikki Dickerson is a sales account manager for polyethylene export for Chevron Phillips Chemical Co. She has worked for CP Chemical since June 2019 as a sales trainee.
• James “Jim” Augeri retired after 30 years of service to the citizens of Hardin County as foreman for Precinct 3 Road & Bridge Department.
• In January, Laura Kressman returned to the Holiday Inn & Suites Beaumont Plaza as regional director of sales and marketing. Prior, she worked for Palette Hotels as area general manager of Holiday Inn & Suites Beaumont Plaza and Candlewood Suites Beaumont.
• Andrea Barlow is the new chief financial officer for the Signature Group in Port Neches. Before joining the company, she was interim plant controller with Jefferson Wells USA and vice president of finance/controller for Focused Energy.
• Whitney Jones Ponthieu was promoted to director of sales at Gopher Industrial. She has been employed by Gopher for more than 15 years, most recently as senior account manager.
• Jessica Thevis was elected president of the board of directors for the Humane Society of Southeast Texas, while Dr. Maegan Collins was elected vice president. Both are members of the Junior League of Beaumont.
• Four Rave Financial employees celebrated milestones in their careers. LaDedra Jones celebrated 20 years, while Anna Hughes celebrated 15. Christine Ouchley and Siera “Sisi” Hollier celebrated five years each.
• After an extraordinary 39-year career, including 34 at Sabine FCU, Darlene Johnson, vice president of teller services, is retiring. Johnson began at Sabine as a teller and rose to serve in several key roles across the credit union.
• Meg Brown is the newest member of the 2026 board of directors, the Beaumont Farmers Market announced Feb. 23. She is a family nurse practitioner and the founder of the nonprofit PeriodPower Pantry. She is also currently serving as Mrs. North America and is an active member of the Junior League of Beaumont.
• Kevin Phebus is the new dining services director at Brookdale Dowlen Oaks in Beaumont. He has more than 35 years of dining experience, including over 20 years in healthcare. Previously, Phebus was executive chef at Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston. He was also featured in Taste of Home for his Cherry-Brandy Baked Brie recipe.
• Nick Guidry is the new workforce development manager at Apache Industrial.
• Jessica Gil is the new manager of the Port of Sabine Pass. Previously, she was director of Chapter Operations with the ABC of Southeast Texas Chapter for nearly two years. She has also worked as director of the Education Foundation at the Better Business Bureau.
• Greg Collins, a member of the Broussard’s team since 2018, recently graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services with his associate of applied science degree and recently passed the board exams. He serves as a transport and apprentice.
• Jacoby Edwards resigned as membership director for the Greater Port Arthur Chamber of Commerce and started work this month for the Jefferson County Appraisal District. He worked for the chamber for two years and previously was an account manager for Hernandez Office Solutions.
• The Beaumont Heritage Society announced Brandie Hensley is the new executive assistant. A longtime community volunteer, Hensley joined the Beaumont Heritage Society with a background that includes sales, accounting, and travel advising.
• Caroline Bridges Berg, operations engineer at BASF, is a licensed professional engineer under the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
• Joan Collazo retired last month after 10 years working with the Port Arthur Economic Development Corp.
