Bealls, Inc. announces the opening of a new 21,274 square-foot store at 1380 N. Main St. in the Main Street Shopping Center. A weekend-long grand opening is targeted for March 27-29 and an 8:30 a.m. ribbon cutting ceremony marks the celebration on Saturday, March 28,
Bealls is tapping local retail talent for 16-18 supervisory and associate positions in the store. The Vidor location represents the 89th store in Texas under Bealls Inc.
The store will feature an extensive selection of fashion apparel, footwear, and accessories for the family in special apparel sizes including women’s plus, petites, juniors’ plus, men’s big & tall and wide-width shoes. For the home decorator and designer, bealls offers high-quality home merchandise, housewares, and gifts from around the world. New merchandise arrives weekly, offering guests greater selection.
To mark the opening of all new bealls stores, the company is planting a non-invasive, fruit bearing or medicinal, state native tree in the vicinity of the store entrance at each location. The tree planting initiative honors the land and environment that where Bealls Inc. has chosen to establish community roots.
As Bealls Inc. celebrates its 111-year anniversary this year, the company plans to open 18 new stores this spring and fall.
