Texas Regional Title announced Oct. 28 that it is welcoming Justin Sheffield as Chief Operations Officer (COO). Sheffield will be responsible for providing strategic vision, managerial and administrative procedures, as well as effectively communicating and fostering growth among the leadership team and all employees.
Sheffield joins the Texas Regional Title family with more than 17 years of banking experience and 12 years of serving in an executive management position. He comes from Mobiloil Federal Credit Union, where he served as Vice President of Lending. During his tenure at the credit union, he implemented efficiencies throughout his departments and helped grow the institution’s loan portfolio from $265 million in 2011 to where it is today at $748 million.
Sheffield holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Minor in General Business from Texas A&M University. Prior to Mobiloil Federal Credit Union, he served as Branch Manager 2 at Wells Fargo, where he managed all functions of a retail banking branch. Sheffield’s experience and strong background in management will all be relevant in his new position at Texas Regional Title.
