Visitors center director receives statewide hospitality award

The Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT’s) Travel Information Division awarded Ben J. Rogers Regional Visitors Center Director Kathi Weathington Hughes the 2022 Gene Phillips Hospitality Award during a ceremony March 31 at the annual Texas Travel Counselors Conference in Grapevine, Texas.

The Ben J. Rogers Regional Visitors Center reopens Jan. 20

The staff of the Ben J. Rogers Regional Visitors Center has announced the center will reopen to the public on Wednesday, Jan. 20. It has been closed since September 2019 due to water intrusion from Tropical Storm Imelda.
