During the second week of September, Lamar University’s Department of Earth and Space Sciences utilized an aerial drone to take photos and video imagery of Jefferson County’s coastline’s status in the aftermath of Hurricane Laura.

The ExxonMobil Beaumont Refinery and distributor Tri-Con announced Sept. 8 a combined donation of nearly 15,000 gallons of Synergy gasoline and Synergy Diesel Efficient to support Hurricane Laura recovery efforts in the Orange and Vinton communities.
