Lamar State College Port Arthur hosting free COVID-19 testing

Lamar State College Port Arthur is hosting free COVID-19 testing for both employees and members of the community on Aug. 4-6. The testing, which is free of charge, will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 8 to 11 a.m. for LSCPA employees only.

Grants available from Jefferson County Tourism Committee

The Jefferson County Tourism Committee is now accepting applications for grants awarded to tourism related projects and events benefiting Jefferson County, the committee reported Aug. 3. Applications are due Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, by 5 p.m.
