Southeast Texans have always come together to support each other – and this last year proved no exception. That spirit of community was honored earlier this month when local employers were recognized for their exceptional support of our region’s workforce.

  Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas has relocated its Silsbee Career Center to Palm Plaza at 975 Highway 327 in Silsbee to better serve residents of Hardin County and held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Nov. 9 to celebrate the move.

As with the U.S. numbers a couple of weeks ago, Texas experienced an expected uptick in employment in May. The addition of 237,800 jobs led all states and was by far the largest monthly gain that Texas has ever seen.
