Comptroller Glenn Hegar distributes $1.2 billion in monthly sales tax revenue

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced May 11 he would send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $1.2 billion in local sales tax allocations for May, 11.8% more than in May 2021.
