The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has awarded Harmony Public Schools a $539,000 grant to connect low-income students with access to computers and the internet, the school group recently announced.

Governor Greg Abbott was joined by school and state leaders, including Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan, during a press conference at Hamshire-Fannett Elementary School on March 29 to discuss broadband access in rural areas.
