Silsbee High School Debate students performed well during the 2020 Region 5 UIL Regional Students Congress Virtual meet on Saturday, Nov. 7, making their cases and proving they belong in the upcoming state competition early next year.

LSCO anglers Jack Tindel and Brett Fregia outfished teams from all over the country.

Lamar State College Orange announced Oct. 31 that, in its very first year of existence, the school’s Fishing Club placed ninth in the nation at the 2020 Carhartt Bassmaster College National Championship presented by Bass Pro Shops.
