ExxonMobil announces agreement with locked-out employees

ExxonMobil announced Feb. 21 that, after a lockout lasting more than nine months following failing negotiations, the company and USW Local 13-243 have come to an agreement to ultimately bring the union employees back to work, though a return-to-work date has yet to be set.

ExxonMobil employees to vote on USW Local 13-243 decertification

ExxonMobil announced Oct. 25 that the National Labor Relations Board has scheduled a vote on whether or not to decertify United Steelworkers (USW) Local 13-243 amid failing contract negotiations. If workers vote to decertify, they will no longer be represented by the Union.

ExxonMobil welcomes new Refinery Manager

ExxonMobil is ringing in 2021 by welcoming a new manager to its Refinery. Rozena Dendy replaces Ryan Bucholtz, who assumed a new role at the company’s corporate headquarters in Irving. Dendy comes to Beaumont from Nanticoke, Canada, where she was the manager at the Nanticoke Refinery.
