Entergy Texas restores power, pledges $360,000 to help rebuild Texas communities

Power was restored Sunday, Sept. 6, to all customers who could safely receive it, ending an 11-day restoration effort by more than 7,000 Entergy employees and contractors to restore 291,300 customers in Texas, the company reports.

AT&T contributing $30,000 for Hurricane Laura relief in Southeast Texas

AT&T reported Aug. 31 that the company is reaching out to help the Southeast Texas community recover from Hurricane Laura’s impacts by contributing $30,000 to the SETX Civilian Taskforce, an organization focused on providing relief and recovery to those in need following a disaster.

Entergy Texas crews continue to make progress to restore outages following the impacts of Hurricane Laura’s destructive storm surge, wind and flooding. More than 7,000 people have been mobilized across Southeast Texas to complete Entergy Texas’ restoration efforts.
