LCM Health Science receives check from LifeShare

The Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School Health Science Program received $1,520 for collecting 152 blood donations during their annual LifeShare Blood Center drives this year, the school district reports. The money will go back into the Health Science Program.

Museum of the Gulf Coast hosting blood drive

The Museum of the Gulf Coast (MOGC) is hosting a blood drive at the museum Oct. 3 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. due to "critically low" blood supplies at local blood banks, MOGC reports.  The Port Arthur museum is partnering with LifeShare Blood Center for the indoor donation drive.
