LSCO breaks ground on new $38M academic building

Lamar State College Orange broke ground April 19 on its new, state-ofthe-art academic building. When finished, the nearly $38 million building will house academic classrooms, labs and the Information Technology department.

May 1, American Welding & Gas, Inc. (AWG) announced the purchase of Coastal Welding Supply and Specialty Gases, along with the Southeast Texas company’s more than 200 teammates, according to a press release attributed to AWG CEO Jason Krieger.
