To show its appreciation for the health care workers keeping the community safe during the COVID-19 crisis, Boy Scouts of America Three Rivers Council donated more than $14,000 worth of popcorn to Southeast Texas hospitals.

Governor Greg Abbott has waived certain regulations from the Texas Board of Nursing regarding licensing renewal and subsequent fees for nurses in Texas, his office announced March 25. The Governor's waiver authorizes a six-month grace period for nurses with expired licenses.
