Neches FCU hosts 7th Annual Veteran’s Day 5K, raises over $4,000

Neches Federal Credit Union announces that they raised over $4,000 today that will go to support the Southeast Texas Veterans Service Group (SETVSG).  The funds were raised by way of a 5K, seven-mile bike ride, and one-mile walk/run that the credit union hosted Friday.

State sales tax revenue totals $3.8 billion in October

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar said Nov. 1 that state sales tax revenue totaled $3.82 billion in October, 11.9% more than in October 2021. The majority of October sales tax revenue is based on sales made in September and remitted to the agency in October.
