Comptroller reports sales tax collections improved for November.

State, local sales tax collections improve for November

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced Nov. 12 that he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $890.5 million in local sales tax allocations for November, 4.8% more than in November 2019.

Indorama, which is located at the former Huntsman facility in Port Neches, will be conducting evacuation drills on Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. and Nov. 12 at noon, reports the city of Groves. These are practice drills for the facility.
