LSCO fishing team 'reels in' another win

The Lamar State College Orange Gators fishing team has reeled in another tournament win, with anglers Trent Buchholz and Grady Doucet placing third in the Abu Garcia College tournament, qualifying them for the national tournament.
The event was held Friday, July 10 at Fort Gibson Lake in Oklahoma.

Governor Abbott extends federally supported COVID-19 testing

Governor Greg Abbott announced July 12 that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has extended federal support of Community Based Testing Sites in Dallas and Houston through July 31. Abbott previously secured an extension of these sites in June.
