Dugood donates more than $100k to local charities

Impacting lives and building stronger communities – that’s the heart behind a special initiative created by DuGood Federal Credit Union. It’s called DuGood By Giving and, after next week, 16 Southeast Texas charities will leave $52,500 stronger and better able to assist those they serve.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day by bringing your friends out to 5 Under Golf Center on College Street in Beaumont where they will be serving green eggs and ham for only $3.17 for breakfast and $3-$4 green beer will be “on tap” for a fun and festive evening.

United Way of Beaumont & North Jefferson County will host its third annual “Day of Caring” (DOC) from 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m. on Friday, March 27, to connect local businesses and their employees with volunteer projects in the Beaumont-North Jefferson County region.

Governor Greg Abbott, March 9, released his “2020 Report to the People of Texas,” looking back at all that was accomplished by and for the people of Texas over the previous year and sharing his vision for the year ahead. This is his third Report to the People since taking office in 2015.
